Out past the old fence line

Raised in the field. Finished in the barn.

Red Barn Fire started with a too-big pepper harvest, a borrowed fermenting crock, and a family dinner table that always had room for one more bottle.

The way we make it

Flavor first is more than a nice label line.

We grow peppers across fourteen acres of sandy loam, picking each variety when it tastes like itself. Some go bright and fresh into a mash. Others rest with salt and time until their sharp edges soften into something rounder.

Every batch is blended, tasted, and bottled in our old red barn. That means a sauce might be gone for a few weeks. It also means the bottle in your hand got our full attention.

01

Grow

We choose pepper varieties for flavor, not just a big number on a heat chart.

02

Ferment

Salt, peppers, and patience build tang without hiding the harvest.

03

Blend

Garlic, fruit, smoke, and spice take their turn at the tasting bench.

04

Bottle

Small runs let us keep the flavor lively from barn to your table.

Our promise

No extracts. No filler. No heat for heat’s sake.

Just peppers with personality, ingredients we can pronounce, and enough fire to keep dinner interesting.

Seasonal by nature

Our batches follow the field, so flavors stay tied to a real harvest.

Slow on purpose

Fermentation takes time. We think the tang is worth waiting for.

Made for meals

These are table sauces: passable, shareable, and easy to reach for again.
