About
I’m Mara — a freelance photographer working between New York and wherever the light is kind. I make portraits, interiors, and small documentary stories for people and brands who prefer honesty over polish.
Most of my work is made in available light. Sessions are unhurried. We leave room for the in-between moments: the glance before the smile, the way a room settles in the afternoon, the detail that tells the whole story.
Clients include independent designers, hospitality groups, families, and magazines looking for images that feel lived-in rather than staged.
Rates
Clear starting points. Final quotes reflect location, usage, and the shape of the day. Travel and extended licensing are arranged separately.
Portraits
From $650
A two-hour session in natural light — headshots, personal branding, or a quiet family frame. Includes a guided edit of 25–35 images and web-ready files.
Places
From $1,200
Half-day coverage of homes, studios, and hospitality spaces. Made for designers, architects, and staymakers who want rooms to feel inhabited.
Stories
From $2,400
Full-day storytelling for weddings, brand films stills, retreats, or long-form personal projects. A careful sequence rather than a checklist.
